Think practically and move
Counsellors, health practitioners, physicians, psychiatrists, or specialists will recommend different methods for you to support what you are going through. Because I am not a professional, I will not provide detailed guidance on this. It could be harmful if a person is not fully aware of your situation and not equipped with profession knowledge to assess your mental state. As you are receiving help, or maybe waiting to receive help, here are a few things you can try to do:

Maybe it is too hard to reduce my accent, but I can start expanding my vocabulary, so that even though my pronunciation is not perfect, I can talk fluently and use different kinds of words. At this practical moment, feeling sad is not going to help me. Racism is a negative experience. But are there evidences that I did something wrong? Are there evidence that I deserve this experience? If not, okay, I probably shouldn't blame myself for it. |
